Dear New Lifer,
We know these are very uncertain times but we know the one who knows it all and we worship and praise Him through it all.
Tomorrow we will not be having a service in our building but we will be live streaming the service to your front room TVs or Laptops, tablets or phones at 11.30am.
We have made a 30mins countdown video which will start playing on the Live Stream from 11am. This is to help you login and get yourself ready before the service starts at 11.30am. So that means from 11am you can start logging into Facebook or Youtube and keep your page open until the service starts at 11.30am. You can grab yourself a tea or coffee while you wait for the Live stream to start.
Some of us might never have done this before, but we are trying as much as possible to make it as easy to access as possible. You have 3 option available to you.
You can either Login through Facebook and like the New Life Page and get the Live stream that way. Please note, you need a Facebook account to do this.
You can go to YouTube and search for New Life Derby and join the Live Feed which should be available from 11am.
You can go on the website and the Live Stream is on the Home Page.
We have worked really hard this week to get the best quality broadcast to you on Sunday and we pray it all goes according to plan. Please keep this all in your prayers as well as the media team as they have worked really hard.
Giving is a great part of our worship to the Lord and we will encourage you to give to the Lord as part of our worship. If you already give directly to the bank account that is great and you can carry on giving that way. If you haven’t given remotely before we have two options for you.
1- You can set up a bank transfer from your bank account to the New Life Bank account using these details:
Account name: New Life Derby
Sort code: 40-19-37
Account no: 31701533.
2 – You can also give online using your Debit or Credit card by going to our website here.
LIVING ROOM WORSHIP
Next week we would love to carry on with the Hour of Living Room worship from 7-8pm every evening from Monday to Friday and this will be rotated round some of our lovely worship leaders in the church. We just feel that we need to end the day with our focus on Him and we would love you to join us with that and invite your friends and family to it.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Amy and Joe are working hard at this time to try and see how we can engage the children and Young people while they are off school and at home. We will let you know what is happening and how you can get your child or young person to engage with it.
We would love to get your testimonies and broadcast this over our Live Stream feed next Sunday 29th March. If you have a testimony to share please email firstname.lastname@example.org and then we will get you to film a short video of it (About 5mins long) and send this in. We will then compile this and stream this live on Sunday evening 29th March.
Due to most of the staff having to work from home in these times, the office will not be open everyday. We would please encourage you to email the email@example.com email if you have any communication to pass on. We will endeavour to do our best to communicate with you about all that is happening.
Please look out for each other in these times and keep one another in your prayers.
We trust that we will be gathering and fellowshipping together in the near future, but until then we will remain the church, alive and well and reaching our world for Him.
God bless you richly.
Henry & Rachael Ita
Dear New Lifer,
We are in uncertain times, but we know one who is on the throne and who is not surprised or panicked by what is happening. The bible says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (1 Tim 1:7) So let us walk together in faith and not fear knowing the one who has the answer to all our questions.
In the light of the recommendations by our Prime minister and government yesterday, we as a leadership team have taken the decision not to have any public meetings in our buildings or elsewhere until further notice. This includes our Sunday worship services and all Family, Youth and Children’s outreach programs and Life Groups as well. The reason for this is so that we do not put anyone at risk of having someone in their home or building that may pass the virus on.
What we will encourage is more than ever before, we look out for one another, by calling and texting and checking on how everyone is doing. If we know of anyone who is in need and we can’t do anything about it, please send a message over to the church and we will try and get in touch with them and get something over to them if they are self-isolating.
Our church offices will remain open as much as possible, so if you need to ring the office you can do that by ringing 01332 349056 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This coming Sunday, I invite you to join us as we live stream on our Facebook page here or our YouTube Channel here or by searching for “New Life Church Derby” on either platform. You will be blessed as you join with the worship team as they lead us in worship, and you will hear a timely message from God’s Word. We will also be looking to Live Stream times of Worship on the Facebook page for those who are self-isolating, and we can all join in that way to keep our Spirits Alive and encouraged. Please look out for times which will be advertised.
You can keep up to date with any further updates by going on our website here.
While our public meetings will be on hold, we will still be providing financially for our missionaries around the world. We encourage you to continue giving your tithes and offerings for the work of the Lord through online giving at ChurchSuite Here or through our website Here. Your help is needed and would be greatly appreciated.
Let’s continue to pray and encourage one another, and let’s not waver in trusting God. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us, and His Word is true.
I will be getting back to you regularly with any updated information.
May God richly bless you.
